MDPAACstands for Missouri Democratic Party Asian American CaucusMDPAAC is the first Democratic Caucus established in Missouri and taking a key role for both State wide (locally) and Nationally. MDPAAC was established in 2007 and has been working to fulfill the demand of Asian-American politicians in the process of active Political Participation. MDPAAC is one of the few state wide democratic organizations that is working with a very high and positive sucess in the state of Missouri. MDPAAC has ten local county chapters and it is the first State Chapters of US National Democratic Party Asian American Caucus US-NDPAAC. Among the national chapters of US National Democratic Party Asian American Caucus the MDPAAC has a great impact on the US-NDPAAC.

Misson Statement: The mission of the Missouri Democratic Party Asian American Caucus MDPAAC is to stimulate an active interest in Asian Americans relating to Political and Governmental affairs to facilitate Asian American participation in the Missouri Democrat Party, to promote the ideas and principles of the Democratic Party, and to encourage and seek Asian American candidates for public office and explain positions of other political candidates to Asian American voters. The Caucus shall also work with the Asian American Communities to bring their issues to the state and national political attention. We are the Asian- American Communities living in United States of America and exercising our Rights in the Main Stream Political Process.

The Caucus shall also work with the Asian American Communities to bring their issues to the state and national political attention. We are the Asian- American Communities living in United States of America and exercising our Rights in the Main Stream Political Process.

Missouri Democratic Party Asian American Caucus is celeberating it’s 11th Annual Convention. MDPAAC is operating in 11 Counies in Missouri with headquarters in Kansas City and regional field office in St. Louis. In the past 11 years this Caucus have been taking key roles in the Democratic Party Platform.

MDPAAC was established by MD Rabbi Alam, a veteran of Iraq war and a Democratic Party National activist. Alam Chaired the caucus from 2006-2010. Dr. Abdul G. Akram Chaired the caucus from 2010-2014. Anwar K. Khan is the current chairman of MDPAAC. The current executive committee inaugrated for 2015-2018.

The current executive committee welcomes you to join our 11th Annual Convention and make the 2018 a very successful blue democratic year. As you know, 2018 is the mid-term election year and Missouri has lost it’s swing status and annexted to a complete red state. We are organizing and hoping to bring our Minority Asian block voters to come out and take an active role to flif the both Missouri’s GOP leads House and Senate and help the executive branch to be elected as a democratic state.

Join our convention on February 24, 2018 in Kansas City, MO. The Convention is set for 1 pm – 5 pm.
